Based upon pottery designs, textiles, and petroglyphs left by Mimbres, Hohokam, Casas Grandes, Sinagua, and Anasazi artists, The Ancient Blanket Series is graced with the contemporary spirit of Hopi weaver Ramona Sakiestewa. The six Indian trade blankets in the collection are inspired by the natural beauty and cultural motifs associated with national monuments and archaeological sites in the Southwest.
